mapOR automates database application code generation.

mapOR is a simple tool that automates code generation for database application development. Any kind of repetitive code structure, using database metadata, can be edited in mapOR, based on a template method. Reserved tags are used to mark the metadata insertion points in the template as well as define areas for metadata iteration (through tables and columns). A template can generate one file per table or one file per group of tables.

Database metadata are loaded through a OLE DB Provider, which allows uniform access to different relational databases. In order to solve occasional problems in loading the necessary information, most of the metadata values are available for edition. An alias pattern can be applied to tables and columns names, making the code generated and the database name pattern quite less coupled.
