When you first open the program, you see a snapshot of where your account stands. Entering transactions could not be simpler. With one click, and form opens with the date prefilled. Enter the amount and type of transaction, click confirm, and your done. If the type of transaction is payroll, then the program will track it seperately along with the employee and all deductions.

Balance & Budget has a Date Selector which allows you to move quickly from month to month or select a custom range. As the Date Selector changes, the summary, reports, and graphs automatically update.

When you need to generate a report, you simply enter the date in the date selector at the top of the form and run through the tabs to view the financial report by category, with subtotals and totals, a payroll report by employee with totals, and graphs of credits and debits.

All data and tables can be printed in an easy to read format or exported to Microsoft Excel. The information can then used for tax purposes.

Any time you want to back-up your data, you can save the information to a file, which can be loaded any time you need to use this data again. At the year's end, simply save the data, clear the database, and begin the next year.

Balance & Budget also comes with a Budget Worksheet to help make business decisions, a Contacts page to store client, employee, and/or business contacts, and Amortization and Savings worksheets to see how get the most out of your loans and investments.
