A utility that tracks changes made to your system during the installation or removal of software or hardware. Changes tracked include additions, deletions, or modifications to files and directories, INI files, and the Registry. InstallWatch Basic is designed for individual PC users who want to track changes that are made to their PC, but don’t require the advanced features found in the professional version of InstallWatch. InstallWatch Basic uses a simplified interface to assist the user with documenting changes when installing software. Features included in InstallWatch Basic are: a wizard mode, printing, limited INI file change tracking, full registry change tracking, full documentation of all file and folder changes on the user’s C drive, and auto detecting of setup programs.
