EarthNavigator.com is both a program and a website, and it's free. The program is a 3D interactive globe which floats on your desktop and has visual links to 1000's of web-sites around the world. Just double-click on any place in the world to go directly to a website related to the place. You can also quickly get detailed maps of any place in the world, the local weather, distances and driving directions between points, the local time anywhere in the world and much more. Our Active Places feature always keeps you up-to-date with the latest new places and related websites. Or, create your own Active Places and share them with the growing EarthNavigator community. The globe itself can be easily resized to either fit the whole screen, or just float in a corner of it. You can spin the globe, zoom into any part of the world, show the day/night shadow and lines of latitude/longitude, and more. And the globe image is photo-realistic based on satellite images of the earth.
