Board Game

Disc Connect is the new exciting board game where you connect discs of the same color to score points. NOTE: Disc Connect 3.01 has a different scoring system than version 3.0. It is easier to understand, but not proportionally correct. You are given an 8X8 playing board and a supply of discs which you have to find places for on the board. The way you keep the board from filling up is to connect 3 to 8 (depending on the level chosen) discs of the same color in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. When you make a connection, all discs involved in the connection are removed from the board, and you score points. Bonus points are scored at the end of each round, based on how many empty squares you have, as well as surviving the round. On this, the shareware version of the game, you'll have two levels of difficulty and two different timings to play the levels at. You can choose to connect a minimum of 3 discs (of the same color) in a row, or you can choose to connect 8 in a row. As for your timings, you can choose 5 seconds per move (where you're given 5 seconds to place a disc, or the computer will randomly place the disc for you--which will most likely not be where you'd want the disc to be placed) or Unlimited Time, where you can play the game at your own pace. If you decide that you'd want to purchase the full version of Disc Connect (with a lot more rounds, levels of difficulty, and timings), you will see instructions in the downloaded game itself on how to buy the full version.
