Description:
Checkers meets Tic Tac Toe - a real challenge!

3D Morris combines an over three thousand year old strategy game of the ancient Egyptians (known as 9 men's morris or 9men's mill) with extremely beautiful 3D-rendered modern graphics. Play the game against the computer, make a fast match with a friend on one computer or use the Internet or any other Network to play from computer to computer. 3D Morris does also include a new arcade-like game mode which gets harder from level to level. You try to get as many points as possible while your time runs up. The world's top 10 highscores are automatically posted to the game's Homepage and are displayed by 3D Morris when being online. 3D Morris comes with nice sound effects, 16 soundtracks and 3 highcolor graphic sets (Classic Desktop, Space Station, Toyland) - Each of them looks completely different!Players begin with nine pieces and alternate placing them on open fields (point to highlight and then left-click). If a player forms a mill, he then removes one of his ! opponent's pieces, which is lost for the game. A player loses the game when he has only 2 pieces left. When all pieces are placed, players alternate moving their pieces to free adjacent fields, again removing one opposing piece after forming a mill. A player also loses the game if blocked so that no moves exist.A player with only 3 pieces left can jump pieces to any free field. The player can no longer be blocked, but loses the game if the opponent builds another mill. The only chance to win at this point is to form a mill with the remaining three pieces while preventing opposing mills - a true test indeed!
