SLIM SHOW lets you create and play professional, interactive multimedia presentations within Microsoft Windows 3.1x, 95, 98, and NT. It provides an easy to use, drag-and-place authoring environment for integrating multimedia materials consisting of Text, Sound (WAVE and MIDI), Graphics (BMP and JPG), Movie (AVI and MPEG), synthesized speech (text-to-speech), Animations, Subprograms/EXE, and Buttons for users interactions. It has 40 built-in transition effects plus transparency and erasing for Graphics. Text objects let you transport TrueType fonts to show on target machines. Text-to-speech synthesizer allows any random provided text, or text file. Speech pitch and rate adjustable. Can use custom dictionaries. Projects can run directly within the program or can be built for distribution with a standalone player. In fully automatic mode, the self-extract player will decompress data files, run the show, and then clean up everything on the target machines. In no! n-compressing mode, projects can be built to CD-ROMs, hard disks or to integrate with other Windows programs. Stage window size can be set to a fixed value or to be adjusted automatically to fit target machines. The tiny player takes only 55 KB of space for regular projects. SLIM SHOW is ideal for making presentations, advertising, demos, tutorials, corporate imaging, story books, education, multimedia greeting cards, albums, newsletters and games.
